The time has come to request your shipment with Easy Delivery. Problem: You do not know which carrier to choose between economic, express or why some carriers are not offered to you? Discover all the specificities of transport companies, to select the carrier corresponding to your needs.

 

Colissimo is part of La Poste (French post) group and works in collaboration with posts around the world. Thus, as soon as the parcel enters a foreign territory, it is taken in charge by the local post office (for example, for a shipment to Morocco, the parcel will be delivered by the Moroccan post office). This is why Colissimo is not offered on all destinations on the Easy Delivery website. Some local stations do not offer a sufficiently convincing service to ensure on-time delivery. 

Delivery times: 

Europe : Count 3 to 6 working days depending on the destination. 

French West Indies 9 working days for a forwarding to the French Overseas Territories

Rest of the world : Count 9 to 12 working days depending on the destinations and the partners on site: some are more efficient than others! 

Limites maximum : Colissimo accepte les colis jusqu’à 30kg et 200cm (longueur + largeur + hauteur). (Learn how to find the dimensions and weight of a package)
  • A specificity for shipments to Military Postal Services : the maximum weight is 20kg. 

Livraison en cas d’absence : If you are not home at the time of delivery, a notice of passage will be placed in your mailbox and your package will be delivered to your regular post office. 
Réclamation : En cas de problème avec votre envoi, il est possible de faire une réclamation auprès de Colissimo. Attention, le délai de réponse est d’au minimum 21 jours et peut aller jusqu’à 60 jours. 
 

USPS or United States Postal Service is the US postal service (the equivalent of Colissimo). Like Colissimo, USPS distributes parcels in partnership with post offices around the world. When you go through USPS, your package will be delivered by the local post office in the country where you live.

 
Delivery times: 

Europe : Count 7 to 9 working days depending on the destination.

French West Indies 6 to 10 days depending on the destination.

Rest of the world : count 10 to 15 working days depending on the destination.

Limites maximum : USPS accepte les colis jusqu’à 75lb (environ 34kg) et 270cm (longueur + largeur + hauteur). 
Livraison en cas d’absence : Si vous n’êtes pas chez vous au moment de la livraison, un avis de passage sera déposé dans votre boîte aux lettres et votre colis sera livré dans votre bureau de poste habituel. 
Réclamation : Il est possible de faire une réclamation auprès d’USPS à certaines conditions : 
- Minimum 14 days after package departure, prior to this, service does not have sufficient visibility on routing
- Once the package has arrived in the destination country 

Chronopost is also part of the La Poste group and offers an express service. With partners in every country served, Chronopost delivers parcels quickly around the world. When you receive a Chronopost package, you may be surprised to see that the delivery is done by DHL or UPS for example. This is normal: Chronopost benefits from a network of local partners for international deliveries. Do not hesitate to contact our customer service to know the Chronopost partner in your country 

Delivery times: 

Europe : Count 2 to 3 working days for a European destination

French West Indies and abroad : 3 to 4 working days for delivery around the world.

Limites maximum : le transporteur Chronopost accepte les colis jusqu’à 30kg et 300 cm selon la formule Longueur + 2 hauteur + 2 largeur = 300 cm. 

Delivery if your absent 

Europe: It is possible to reschedule a delivery with Chronopost’s Predict service within 24 hours of the first delivery attempt. 

French West Indies and abroad : a second delivery attempt may be offered by Chronopost depending on the destination. Otherwise, the package will be dropped off at a Chronopost partner relay point.

Réclamation : Chronopost offre un service client très compétent et rapide. Le délai de réponse moyen est de 2 à 3 jours maximum et les réponses apportées permettent de régler le problème de façon efficace. 

Ces deux transporteurs sont des “expressistes” autrement dit, des transporteurs express. Ils offrent un service premium extrêmement rapide partout dans le monde. Ils ont également leurs propres avions pour l’acheminement des colis, ce qui permet une prise en charge très efficace de vos envois. 

Delivery times: 

Europe : 1 business day for European countries, we told you: it’s fast! 

French West Indies 3 to 4 working days for the overseas territories. 

Rest of the world : 2 to 4 business days worldwide.

Maximum limits : Pour les envois standards, UPS et DHL acceptent les colis jusqu’à 70kg et 200cm (longueur + largeur + hauteur). 

For shipments with larger dimensions and weights, an “out of spec” quote can be made.

Delivery if your absent 

DHL and UPS offer deliveries with couriers and signature only. If you are not home at the time of delivery, a second attempt will be made the next day. If you are not available the next day, you will be contacted by the carrier to arrange an appointment or a deposit at a partner relay. 

  • Special case: for African countries that do not have a postal address system, DHL and UPS packages are to be picked up directly at their agencies. 
 
Claim : DHL et UPS apportent une réponse en 3 à 4 jours ouvrés lors d’une réclamation. Leurs services clients sont un peu moins disponibles que celui de Chronopost par exemple. 

For Europe, we also offer DHL Eco, a DHL branch offering cheaper shipments while maintaining service excellence. 

The features are exactly the same as for DHL Express, except for the delivery time which is 4 to 5 business days.
